So incensed are agents in the Treasury Department, who have conducted a multi-year investigation and empanelled a grand jury, that they’ve joined with local law enforcement to bring charges against contractors and million dollar settlements against the city.
We may never know the full extent of this “environmental racism,” but Detroit’s leaders cannot claim they didn’t know. I pointed it out to them for years.
